A fellow blogger, and unfortunately, an ignorant jerk
A blog that not only makes fun of the Pope, but does so under the pretense of being written by the Pope.

Anyone out there who finds this as disgusting as I do, please send this misguided, childish person your thoughts.

I'm the childish one? I'm the ignorant one? Yes, ABSOLUTELY, I DO find this blog, lampooning the leader of my faith AND EVERYTHING HE DOES, offensive. The humor is not gentle. It's assinine. I absolutely am not kidding. Sense of humor? The idiot who runs this blog is the one with no sense of humor.
The man is the symbol of my faith, the leader of millions of people worldwide. He helps to guide us in how to live our lives, he teaches us about the ways of the being who created the world that we live in, the only true route to a fulfilling life and a happy afterlife.
But more importantly, the blog pokes fun at traditions that the Catholic Church considers to be important, significant, and not the kind of things that are to be debated or made fun of. (For example, the golden-colored vestments worn on Christmas, WHICH IN NO WAY RESEMBLE A TWINKIE).
And don't jump on me about censorship. Yes, I flagged the site for objectionable content. I will not deny that this person is allowed to say whatever he or she pleases, but I also am allowed to object to it. The first ammendment runs both ways. Furthermore, the flag function is there for a reason. These blogs are a service provided by Google, and, to a degree, they represent the company that provides for them. Thus, that company has the right to decide not to provide for them. I find the content of the blog to be highly objectionable and offensive, and its existence I think speaks poorly for modern society.

OK, childish, ignorant person, here goes: Way to have a sense of humor. Seriously? You're offended by the gentle absurdity of askthepope? No, you're kidding, right?
(Don't feel obligated to answer, I won't be back.)
