Am I missing something here?

Okay, so it's a state-run company from UAE. Is it just me, or does it seem that they probably wouldn't do anything wrong, after recent world history? Isn't it obvious to everyone at this point that if terrorists were to get through our ports and we had any reason to believe that the company were to blame, then we would bomb the living daylights out of UAE?

The following has been added after the submission of a reader comment:

We must also remember that this is a company; it may be state-run, but it is a company nonetheless, and not much more likely than any other company to do something 'evil.' While this company may have been started by the UAE government, it's almost certainly an entity in itself, even if it must submit to a degree of government regulation. Furthermore, I highly doubt that this company will have complete and utter control over our ports. The federal government will still regulate port activity, I am sure. One must understand the difference between government and business, and the company, while handling business transactions and so on in the ports, will not be taking on a regulatory capacity. That would be nonsensical.

You talk about recent world history, but do you have any research to back up your opinion that they wouldn't do anything wrong? The UAE is anything but innocent. Research it before you tell me that they're not. Furthermore, why can a foreign company control ?our ports? Foriegn countries can't control our airports, so why our sea ports?
