He's upset that Christmas movies seem to align with a conservative notion of religion.
Maybe that's because the Democrats do everything that they can to be non-religios! How can you have a good Christmas movie like that?

Well, I basically read the story from the link you provided. I do not care whether it is a BLUE or RED "state" Xmas movie. If it is interesting and entertaining, that to me is all that matters. I think the 1951 XMAS CAROL film is great. I also think IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE is the greatest A movie ever made. With LIFE, I think it is the best TWILIGHT ZONE episode,Rod Serling never wrote.
'A Christmas Story' is indeed a great movie.
